Venetia Bridge to close for replacement
The Venetia Bridge on Venetia Road in Peters Township will be closed and detoured starting July 7 for approximately 39 days so that it can be replaced. The project will completed in mid-September. A marked detour will be in place as follows:
Follow Venetia Road west, to Bebout Road north, to East McMurray Road north/east, enter into Allegheny County where East McMurray becomes McMurrary Road to Clifton Road east, to Library Road (Route 88) south to enter back into Washington County. Stay on Route 88 south (now Sheridan Avenue) to Rankintown Road/Venetia Road west.
