Saccone to offer property tax/rent rebate assistance
The staff of state Rep. Rick Saccone, R-Elizabeth, will hold meetings to help seniors and qualified applicants complete property tax and rent rebate applications.
They are:
• March 17: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Elizabeth Borough Building, 206 Third Ave., Elizabeth.
• March 31: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Forward Township municipal building, 1000 Golden Circle, Elizabeth.
Assistance also is available at Saccone’s district office, Olde Hickory Shops, 1002 Old Hickory Lane, Jefferson Hills, from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Constituents should bring all necessary documents, including copies of property tax statements and IRS 1099 forms. First-time filers must provide proof of age and those claiming a rebate because of disability need Social Security Administration proof.
