Police Beat March 8
Harassment: Cumberland Township police cited Oliver S. Forsythe, 45, of 682 Nemacolin Road, Carmichaels, for harassment and disorderly conduct Feb. 28 after he allegedly struck a female and pushed a wooden garbage container over a hill while in the 100 block of Bliss Avenue in Nemacolin.
Drug sales: State police charged Amnie E. Lawver, 54, of Crucible, with possession with intent to deliver, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia after troopers said he sold crack cocaine Feb. 24 while at the Econo Lodge motel in Franklin Township.
Access device fraud: Donna Kay Metcalf, 45, of Clarksville, was charged with theft and access device fraud after state police said she made fraudulent purchases totaling $5,430 while working at the BFS convenience store in Jefferson Borough between Dec. 14 and Jan. 14.
Resisting arrest: Jennifer Lee Palmer, 33, of 156 Washington St., Jefferson, was charged with resisting arrest after state police said she ran from a trooper who was trying to serve an arrest warrant on her Feb. 27 when he saw her on D Street in Morgan Township.
Donation can theft: Aaron M. Redman, 18, of 155 S. Richhill St., Waynesburg, faces several charges after borough police said he stole a donation can for the Humane Society of Greene County that was at the Sunoco convenience store on East Greene Street Jan. 4. Police said the can had $30 to $40 in it and he used the money to purchase marijuana. Redman was charged Friday with theft, receiving stolen property, criminal mischief and evidence tampering.
