Autopsy inconclusive in death of man panning for gold
McGRANN (AP) – A Western Pennsylvania coroner says an autopsy was inconclusive in determining what caused the death of a man who was found dead at the edge of a creek after he went panning for gold.
Armstrong County Coroner Brian Myers said Monday that additional tests are needed to determine what killed 33-year-old Jeremy Potocnak. Myers says the death doesn’t appear to be suspicious. State police are also investigating.
The Ford City man was found Monday morning along Tub Mill Run in Manor Township. Family members went looking for him when he didn’t return home.
