PITTSBURGH (AP) – A man has admitted setting fire to a house in Western Pennsylvania, killing six people, including four children.

Ryan Williams pleaded guilty to murder and arson charges on Thursday. In return, prosecutors in Allegheny County agreed not to seek the death penalty. The 26-year-old will serve two life sentences.

Authorities say Williams torched a home in McKeesport in 2014 because one of the residents had implicated him in a burglary. That person survived.

However, a man confined to a wheelchair, his 27-year-old daughter-in-law and her four children, ages 2 through 7, died.
