Police beat March 12
Theft: Nicole B. Smitley, 25, of 415 Sherman Ave., Nemacolin, was charged Thursday by state police with theft and receiving stolen property for an incident that occurred in July 2014. According to court documents, Smitley was a caregiver for the victim’s father at his Colonial Drive home in Franklin Township. The victim allegedly video recorded Smitley taking about $120 out of her purse.
Theft: Cody A. Smith, 23, of Route 21 Mobile Home Park, Carmichaels, was charged Thursday by state police with theft and receiving stolen property for an offense that occurred in October 2014. Police said Smith allegedly stole about $300 in cash and a debit card from his aunt’s purse.
Harassment: Kristine M. Seeholzer, 27, of 1012 Toms Run Road, Holbrook, was charged Wednesday with harassment and retail theft for an incident that occurred Feb. 17. Police said Seeholzer took merchandise from a store in Greene Plaza before shoving the store manager and throwing merchandise at her.
