Restrictions set for I-70
Single-lane closures will occur on Interstate 70 at Route 481 (Exit 35) between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m. through April 1 the state Department of Transportation announced.
The nighttime restrictions will be in place for line eradication, line painting and paving as the interchange work continues. The project in Fallowfield Township includes the reconstruction of I-70 at Route 481 interchange as well as removal of the Crossridge Road structure and improvements to Kennedy Road.
The contractor for the $24.7 million project is Gulisek Construction LLC.
