Charleroi man charged in indecent assault on a child
CHARLEROI – A Charleroi man is wanted on two counts of indecent assault on a girl who was about 4 years old when the alleged crimes occurred in Fallowfield Township in 2012.
State police also charged Scott S. Taylor, 45, of 316 Washington Ave., with corruption of minors and endangering the welfare of children, court records show.
Police were notified after the girl reported the assaults this year through a Children and Youth Services hotline. She was interviewed by police Feb. 15, when she accused Taylor of making her touch him inappropriately in a bathroom between March 1 and June 30, 2012, court records show.
A court official said Taylor was supposed to turn himself in to face an arraignment before District Judge Larry Hopkins.
