Police beat March 22
Criminal Mischief: Eddy Lee Bryant, 22, of 39 Cumberland Village Road, Carmichaels, was charged with criminal mischief, prohibited acts for drug paraphernalia and two counts of disorderly conduct Friday, Cumberland Township police said. Police said Bryant allegedly kicked in the basement door of a rental unit at his address, threatened a woman and broke both mirrors off of her car. Police said the damage to the rental unit was about $200. Police also reported finding a marijuana pipe in Bryant’s possession.
Indecent exposure: Daniel B. Speelman, 49, of 118 River Ave., Masontown, was charged with indecent exposure Friday for an incident that happened at a Crucible Road residence Feb. 6. Cumberland Township police said Speelman exposed himself to a woman.
Contraband: Sandra W. Riley, 63, of 713 Smokey Wood Drive, Pittsburgh, was charged by state police Thursday with contraband and two counts of prohibited acts for allegedly delivering marijuana to her son, Corey J. Riley, while he was being held at SCI-Greene last July.
Theft: George Raymond Patterson, Jr., 26, of 109 N. Morris St., Waynesburg, was charged by state police Wednesday with theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly stealing $300 from his employer, Little Caesar’s Pizza, between October and December.
Theft: Joshua Andrew Bedilion, 30, of 32 Jefferson Estates, Waynesburg, was charged by state police Thursday with theft by deception and false swearing. Police said Bedilion sold a trailer in February for $3,000, but he was not the owner of the trailer.
Aggravated assault: Shelby Lynn Wise, 19, of 142 Pigeon Run Road, New Freeport, was charged by state police Saturday with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment after allegedly attacking a man with a club Friday night. Police said Travis King told police he was in the yard at 100 Barnhart Lane, New Freeport, when Wise allegedly struck him with a club on his face and arm. Police said Wise told them that King was yelling at her and approached her while she was in a vehicle before she got out and struck him.
