Coins stolen: Daniel Buretz, 14 E. Water St., told Canonsburg police Monday an 18-piece U.S. Morgan silver coin set was stolen from his dresser drawer in his apartment.

Cemetery theft: Tammy Kelley of Canton Township told Chartiers police Sunday items were stolen from her mother’s grave site at Oak Spring Cemetery.

House burglarized: Jennifer Blair, Birch Drive, told Chartiers police Friday her house was burglarized while the family was away. Stolen from the home was a sound bar, Xbox and Playstation game systems and a diamond ring.

Arson ruled: The state police fire marshal said the cause of a fire Friday at a building in a field on Greaves Road, Donegal, was arson. The fire, which started on the southwest side of the building owned by Cathy Jo McCue of West Alexander, did $1,000 in damage. Anyone with information is asked to call the fire marshal unit at 724-223-5200.

Wallet stolen: Robert A. Hough, no address listed, told state police March 12 his wallet was stolen after he accidentally left it behind while loading groceries at Save-A-Lot, 22 Front St., East Bethlehem. A man and woman reportedly stole the wallet and fled in a white pickup truck. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 724-223-5200.

Shots fired: McDonald police were called about 6 a.m. Monday to the 300 block of Fannie Street, McDonald, after a resident reported hearing shots fired at the rear of his residence. Police checked the area but did not find anything.

Club cited: The operators of the Arroas Haymakers Association No. 253, 153 Main St., New Eagle, was cited Friday by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement with possessing or operating gambling devices or paraphernalia stemming from a Feb. 7 incident.

Vehicle hits pole: Isaiah Wallace, 19, of May Avenue, was injured Monday night when the vehicle he was driving hit a utility pole at Altamont and Baltimore avenues, North Franklin police said. The engine of the vehicle caught fire and was extinguished by police. Police said Wallace smelled of burnt marijuana. He was taken to Washington Hospital for treatment of his injuries and for blood to be drawn to determine if he was under the influence of a controlled substance. His passenger, Alanna Ammon, 18, of Dewey Avenue, Washington, refused treatment for a cut finger.

Cause undetermined: The state police fire marshal ruled the cause of the fire that did $35,000 in damage Thursday to a barn at 2465 Route 136, Nottingham, could not be determined. The building was owned by David J. Spinnenweber.

Purse stolen: Catherine Spencer, 150 Hall Ave., told Washington Monday her black and gray Coach purse was stolen from her car. She told police the thief broke the window and stole the purse containing $40, bank cards, credit cards and identification.

Woman conned: Michelini Zaccaro of Washington told city police she was conned out of $2,000 by a person posing as a former high school classmate on Facebook. The former classmate reportedly told Zaccaro she could get $200,000 in worker’s compensation. Zaccaro was told to send $1,000 to start the process. After she sent money a second time, she felt is was a scam and contacted police.
