United Way to host third annual ‘Greene Cuisine’
The Greene County United Way is serving up a taste of Greene County in celebration of the nonprofit’s third annual “Greene Cuisine” in April.
Sample foods will be provided from several area restaurants and shops, including 5 Kidz Kandy, Bread Wagon Catering, Buy Local Buy Greene, Charlie’s Grill, Country Kitchen Catering, Don Patron Mexican Restaurant, Hot Rod’s House of BBQ, Hungarian Smokehouse, Perfect Round and Sorella’s Pizzeria.
There will also be a wine tasting, by Thistlethwaite Vineyards, and raffle prizes, including a Steelers package, golf package, lottery basket and Vera Bradley and Michael Kors gifts.
The event will be from 6 to 8 p.m. April 18 at the Army National Guard Readiness Center at 500 EverGreene Drive in Franklin Township.

Admission is $25 per person and reservations can be made by calling 724-852-1009.
