Neighbors rescue family of five from burning Western Pa. home

BRENTWOOD (AP) – Two neighbors are being credited with rescuing a family of five from their burning home in a Pittsburgh suburb.

Authorities haven’t released the names of the Brentwood family whose home caught fire shortly before 3 a.m. Thursday.

The family members were taken to a hospital, but were expected to survive.

The cause of the fire remained under investigation. The home is a total loss.
