Disorderly house charges: Cyrus Barlee, 20, of Upper Darby; Jalen Clarence Bell, 21, of Columbus, Ohio; Craig Lanier McCorkle, 21, of Cincinnati, Ohio; and Cordell Smith, 21 of Cleveland, Ohio, were charged by California police with violating the borough’s disorderly house ordinance after officers were called Saturday night for a loud party in an apartment at Vulcan Village.

Warrant arrest: Dontae Patterson, 41, of 204 Donnan Ave., Washington, was taken into custody on a bench warrant issued by Judge John DiSalle on drug charges Wednesday night at a home at 514 Valley View Terrace, Canonsburg police said.

Theft charges: Catherine Levine, 34, of 657 Gregg Ave., Bridgeville, was charged Wednesday by Canonsburg police with retail theft and theft of services for allegedly stealing more than $1,000 by under-ringing merchandise while working at 7-Eleven, 535 W. Pike St., between July 2015 and January. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Drug charges: Marlous L. Johnson Jr., 31, of 174 May Ave., Washington, was charged Wednesday by Canonsburg police with possession of heroin, marijuana and paraphernalia along with traffic violations stemming from a June 28 traffic stop at Elm Street and South Jefferson Avenue. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Charged in crash: Eric A. Delagarza, 24, of Derry, Westmoreland County, was charged Wednesday by Chartiers police with driving under the influence of alcohol and careless driving. Police said he crashed his vehicle into a utility pole on West Pike Street Feb. 8 and had a blood-alcohol content more than three times the 0.08 percent limit at which intoxication is presumed. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

DUI charge: Jeremiah Lee Hadrych, 29, of 250 Donnan Ave., Washington, was charged Wednesday by Chartiers police with DUI of alcohol, careless driving and not having insurance. Police said he crashed his vehicle into property at 132 N. Johnson Road Feb. 14 and had a BAC almost three times the 0.08 percent limit. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Charged with theft: Monessen police charged Robert J. Lenhart, 32, of 317 Roley St., North Belle Vernon, with theft and receiving stolen property Wednesday. Police allege Lenhart stole a piggy bank containing about $800 in quarters from a family member March 21.

Possession charges: Monessen police charged George M. Adams, 37, of 420 Delaware Ave., Monessen, by summons Wednesday with illegally possessing a controlled substance and use/possession of drug paraphernalia. Police said they searched the home where Adams lives with the permission of the property owner and found six bags containing a substance believed to be heroin and a spoon with residue on it.

Theft charges: Monessen police charged Deborah L. Vernet, 54, of 422 Page St., Monessen, by summons with theft and receiving stolen property. Police allege Vernet stole a cordless drill worth $160 March 23 and sold it to a pawn shop.

Drug arrests: Samuel J. Kusaj, 45, of 737 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, and Tamara Lee Taylor, 22, of New Eagle, are charged by city police with drug possession with intent to deliver, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from a traffic stop about 11 a.m. Wednesday in the 200 block of West Main Street, court records show. Police said eight stamp bags of heroin were seized in the arrests. Kusaj and Taylor are in Washington County jail on $25,000 bonds set by District Judge Mark Wilson.

Ramp crash: Timothy Garove, 65, of Canonsburg, and Alyza Grim, 19, of Houston, escaped uninjured Wednesday morning when his vehicle went off the southbound off ramp of Interstate 79 at the Houston exit, traveled across the median and struck Grim’s vehicle, which was on the on-ramp to I-79 southbound in North Strabane, state police said. Garove will be charged with failure to stay in his lane. Grim is charged with not having insurance.

Assault charges: Peter Kent Johnson, 18, of 361 Salem Church Road, Rostraver, was charged Wednesday by Rostraver police with aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment stemming from a domestic dispute at his home. Charges will be filed at the office of District Judge Charles Christner.

Lewdness, disorderly charges: Kimberly Joy Slavik, 49, of 315 Perry Ave., Belle Vernon, was charged Tuesday with open lewdness, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness for allegedly urinating in the parking lot at Tri County Plaza in front of one of the stores, Rostraver police said. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.

Drug arrest: Bobby Leon Cook, who is homeless according to Washington police, was arrested Wednesday on charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver and possession of paraphernalia during a traffic stop in the 10 block of West Walnut Street. Police said Cook, who was a passenger, had seven bundles of suspected heroin and $3,239. Police said their K-9 had alerted on a pill bottle in the vehicle. Cook was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.

Attempted burglary charges: Marc David Ackley, 37, of Valley Grove, W.Va., was arrested early Thursday by Washington police on charges of attempted burglary, loitering and prowling at night and criminal mischief after he allegedly tried to kick open a door of a home at 222 Ridge Ave., claiming he was ripped off during a drug transaction and was owed $200. He was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

Elderly man scammed: A 95-year-old man told Washington police a man claiming to be a water company representative stole $800 from a drawer in his home in the 100 block of Woodland Avenue Wednesday. He told police a man claiming to be from the water company said he had to check the water lines because of a gas leak. The elderly man went down with him to the basement. The bogus utility worker told the elderly man to watch the water turn-off valve, and he went upstairs. After about 10 minutes, the elderly man went back upstairs and discovered the theft. The suspect is white, in his 30s, 5 feet, 10 inches tall, with a thin build.

Restaurant burglarized: A burglar broke into Little Caesar’s, 275 Jefferson Ave., early Wednesday and stole the cash register and its contents. A manager discovered the glass in the front door was broken. Surveillance showed the burglar entered the business about 2:45 a.m. and was inside for only about a minute.

Unauthorized use: Christine Schmalz of 1296 Donnan Ave. told Washington police she allowed an acquaintance to use her green 1996 Mazda, but he now refuses to return it. The license is JGC-6405.

Card accessed: William Chappell of Washington told city police Wednesday information from his credit card was used to make a $252 purchase at Walgreens in Canonsburg. An attempt also was made to use it at a Rite Aid in Canonsburg, but that was declined.

Trespass charge: Belinda Patterson, 42, of 575 Donnan Ave., was charged Wednesday by Washington police with criminal trespass after she allegedly went into another apartment in the building without permission.
