Several facing retail theft charges
South Strabane Township police charged several people with retail theft.
Kira Keener, 39, of 154 Cumer Road, is accused of walking through Walmart tearing tags off clothing, taking merchandise out of the packaging and putting items valued at more than $600 in bags she brought with her. She also is charged with criminal mischief.
Kasandra Hoskal, 23, of 42 Peterson St., Avella, was charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing $217 in items.
Joshua J. Carr, 27, of 30 BelAir Drive, Canton Township, was charged with retail theft and criminal trespass after he allegedly stole $348 in merchandise from Walmart on April 27.
Chelsea Lee Kecho, 23, of 3145 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, is accused of stealing items valued at $159 from Walmart on March 16.
Tony Mills, 34, and Danielle Smith, 28, both of Cleveland, Ohio, were charged with retail theft and conspiracy after they allegedly stole items valued at $3,188 from OshKosh B’Gosh at Tanger Outlets on Oct. 21.
Jonathan Allen Johnson, 27, of 114 Linn Ave., Washington, was charged after he allegedly stole sunglasses from Sunglass Hut, Tanger Outlets, on two occasions earlier this month. The sunglasses are valued at $715.
Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
