South Strabane police charge several in thefts
South Strabane Township police filed theft-related charges last week against several people accused of stealing from township businesses.
Jamie Fisher, 33, and William Matsko III, 28, both of 520 Second St., California, were charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing items valued at $277 from Walmart, Trinity Point, on Oct. 13.
Eric A. Black, 39, of 70 E. Chestnut St., Washington, was charged with theft by deception for allegedly returning stolen razor blades to Walmart on Sept. 14 in exchange for a gift card.
Dorothy Taylor, 36, of 908 Prospect Ave., Charleroi, and Sheri Lynn Cyr, 37, of 1203 Meadow Ave., Charleroi, were charged with retail theft and theft by deception for allegedly stealing items valued at $123.08 from Walmart on Sept. 20 and returning them for a gift card.
Charges against the four will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.
