Fire damages garage roof

North Strabane Township firefighters were called about 10:30 a.m. Saturday for a reported fire in a detached garage at 49 Lindley Road.

The roof was damaged, but firefighters were able to prevent the fire from spreading to the residence.

Assisting were firefighters from Chartiers and Peters townships and Canonsburg.
