Washington pedestrian hit by vehicle
A woman was taken to a Pittsburgh hospital after she was struck by a vehicle about 12:30 p.m. Monday in Washington. City police said that a driver going north on South Main Street had the green arrow to make a left turn onto West Maiden Street when he struck the woman as she crossed. The woman was taken by ambulance to UPMC-Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh for treatment of her injuries. Police said she was complaining of pain.
