INDUSTRY (AP) – State police and the family of a man fatally struck by a car along a Pennsylvania highway are begging witnesses or the driver to come forward.

The Beaver County coroner says 25-year-old Brandon Bixler died from head and torso injuries after he was struck sometime before 2:40 a.m. Sunday along Route 68 in Industry.

Bixler’s body was spotted by someone driving home from work. Authorities believe Bixler was walking home from a bar.

State police say Bixler’s death could be a hit-and-run or a homicide, but they’re not sure. Investigators have recovered car parts from the scene that suggest the vehicle involved could be a white Honda.

Todd Bixler, the victim’s uncle, wants whoever did it to come forward. He says: “It could have been an accident. We don’t know.”
