Single-lane traffic restrictions scheduled for Route 188 in Franklin Township
Single-lane traffic restrictions will be in place beginning Thursday, Oct. 13, on Route 188, between Braden Run Road and Kennel Road in Franklin Township, to allow a crew to inspect and repair a natural gas pipeline over the next month.
Traffic will be controlled by temporary traffic signals. The work is expected to be completed Nov. 14, weather permitting, the state Department of Transportation announced.
The lane restriction is necessary to allow a pipeline company to inspect and repair a pipeline for the Texas Eastern Transmission Corp., PennDOT said. Motorists are reminded to drive with caution through all work zones.
