Local law enforcement officials stand at attention as American Legion Post 175 performs the Posting of the Colors Sunday at a Washington Mall ceremony.

Retired Canonsburg Police Department Assistant Chief Harold Coleman speaks at the 15th anniversary 9/11 memorial service Sunday at Washington Mall. Many local law enforcement, first responders and veterans were present for the service.

At the end of a Sept. 11 memorial service, crowd members raised flags and sang along to “Proud to be an American.” The memorial service was at Washington Mall Sunday morning.
