Police beat Sept. 16
Assaults alleged: James R. Sickles IV, 20, of 114 First St., Bentleyville, is charged by state police with simple assault and harassment, court records show. Police accuse Sickles of striking his girlfriend, Alexis Sherman, and a neighbor, Kevin John, outside Sickles’ residence Monday. Sickles is in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond set Tuesday by District Judge Mark Wilson.
Man jailed: Eric L. Dillie, 43, who is homeless, is charged by state police with two counts of simple assault and one count of marijuana possession over allegations he assaulted a girl Wednesday in the 100 block of Brook Avenue. Dillie is in Washington County jail on $100,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.
Theft case: Paul Labryer, 41, of 147 Lincoln Ave. Extension, Charleroi, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with theft, burglary and trespassing over allegations he stole kitchen cabinets, carpeting and other items worth $40,000 from a vacant apartment at 178 Lincoln Ave. Extension over the past six months, with plans to use them to remodel his apartment, court records show. Labryer is free on $50,000 unsecured bond set Wednesday by District Judge Curtis Thompson.
Drug arrest: Terrence Stepoli, 24, of 2060 Grand Boulevard, Monessen, is charged by city police with drug possession with intent to deliver and drug possession, court records show. Police allege four grams of cocaine, a small amount of marijuana and $845.50 were seized from Stepoli after a patrolman found him asleep in his vehicle at a traffic signal at Schoonmaker Avenue and Sixth Street about 2 a.m. Wednesday. He is free after posting $50,000 bond set by District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.
Jailed in assault: Zachary Anthony, 24, of 615 Lincoln St., Monongahela, is charged by city police with aggravated assault and conspiracy over his alleged participation in an assault on Jason Stevens about 11:15 p.m. Saturday at 419 Second St., court records show. Anthony is in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond set Wednesday by District Judge Mark Wilson.
Theft claim: Robert W. Heckman, 35, of 283 E. Donora Road, Rostraver Township, is charged by township police with theft over accusations he accepted $300 in August from Peter Heinzl for auto parts while working at Reed’s Garage on Route 906 and used the money to purchase cigarettes and alcohol, court records show. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued the charge Wednesday in a summons.
