Drivers identified in rig crash that closed Interstate 70
State police have identified the drivers involved in a tractor-trailer crash that shut down Interstate 70 for more than six hours Thursday night. State police said a tractor-trailer driven by Vasile Lupescu of Springfield, Mo., and and truck without a trailer driven by William Belstering of Cranberry Township collided in the eastbound lanes of I-70 between the Claysville and Taylorstown exits at about 5:45 p.m. Neither driver was injured but the highway was shut down until about midnight while the wreckage was removed.
