Police beat Sept. 20
TV taken from church: A television was stolen Aug. 28 from the lobby of First Church of the Nazarene at 115 Deerfield Lane in Franklin Township, state police said.
Money stolen: State police said $1,000 was stolen Aug. 27 from an unlocked car parked at Greene Plaza in Franklin Township.
Yard sale theft: A toolbox and DVD player were taken during a yard sale at 959 N. Eighty-Eight Road in Jefferson Township without payment Sept. 5, state police said.
Missing dog: State police said someone stole a 180-pound tan and black face bullmastiff named Kitzee from its home at 172 Maple Ridge Road in Monongahela Township Aug. 30. Anyone with information on the dog’s location is asked to call state police in Waynesburg at 724-627-6151.
Items stolen: Several items were removed Aug. 19 from an unlocked storage shed on Glassworks Road in Monongahela Township, state police said.
Loose tire causes crash: A tire came off a tractor-trailer and struck a car traveling on Interstate 79 near the Ruff Creek exit in Washington Township about 8:30 p.m. Sept. 13, state police said. Investigators did not identify the drivers of the two vehicles or say if either was injured.
Two-car crash: No one was injured in a Sept. 9 two-car crash on Interstate 79 near in Washington Township. State police said Deborah Lowrey, 63, of San Antonio, was traveling south on the highway when she lost control of her vehicle and crashed into a car driven by Ebenezer St. Eustache, 30, of Moon Township.
