More than 200 fire trucks, along with marching bands and other units, were part of the 137th Pennsylvania Firemen’s Association parade today through downtown Washington as the highlight of the annual convention of firefighters across the state.

The conference, hosted by North Strabane Township Fire Department, Burgettstown Volunteer Fire Company and Washington Fire Department, was held this week at The Meadows Racetrack & Casino.

Downtown Washington is bustling today, as there is also an Italian Festival at the Main Street community pavilion, and Art in the Garden at the LeMoyne House.
