Lane restriction scheduled for McCracken Road in Aleppo

Single-lane restrictions will be in place on McCracken Road in Aleppo Township beginning Tuesday to allow bridge upgrades to be completed, according to the state Department of Transportation.

Traffic will be alternating and controlled by stop signs between Gun Hill Road and Mud Lick Road. The work will be completed Oct. 14, weather permitting.

The restriction will be in place to allow Rice Drilling B LLC crews to perform structural upgrades on the bridge over the South Fork, a branch of Wheeling Creek.
