Theft: State police said a license plate that was stolen from a vehicle sometime between Sunday and Monday in the 500 block of Bealls Run Road in Dunkard Township.

Resisting arrest: Donald Lee Snyder, 55, of 260 W. High St., Waynesburg, was charged by Waynesburg police with resisting arrest, loitering, public drunkenness and two counts of disorderly conduct after he was found to be wandering while intoxicated on High Street in the borough early Tuesday morning. Police said they saw Snyder stumbling along the sidewalk on High Street and he crossed the street in front of traffic. When police approached him, he ran from them and cursed at them, according to the criminal complaint. Police said Snyder refused to put his hands behind his back during his arrest.
