Drug arrest: Michael E. Derrow, 27, of 403 Hazel St., Bentleyville, was arrested Saturday by Bentleyville police on charges of possession and possession with intent to deliver marijuana and possession of paraphernalia. He was taken into custody during a traffic stop after he allegedly sold the drug to an undercover borough officer. He also had three cellphones and $1,500, police said. He was arraigned before District Judge David Mark and placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.

Man assaulted: James Palmer, 36, of Washington, was assaulted Sunday outside a building at 235 W. Pike St., Canonsburg police said. Police said it was not clear who struck Palmer, who was taken to Canonsburg Hospital for treatment.

Harassment charge: Nicole Cotton, 41, of Pittsburgh, was charged by Charleroi Regional police with harassment for allegedly hitting another person during a confrontation Sunday on Fifth Street.

Assault arrest: Brandon C. Rockovich, 37, of 63 Valley View Road, Scenery Hill, was arrested by state police on charges of simple assault and harassment after a 13-year-old girl told a trooper he struck her at his North Bethlehem home Saturday. He was arraigned before District Judge David Mark and released from Washington County jail after posting $5,000 bond.

Theft arrest: Britt Zinn, 36, of Allison, was arrested Saturday by North Franklin police on a charge of retail theft after he allegedly stole six boxes of ammunition valued at $242.25 from Gander Mountain, Washington Crown Center. He was arraigned before District Judge David Mark and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

Warrant, drug arrests: Police said they stopped a suspicious vehicle at 3:05 a.m. April 11 on East Edgewood Drive and learned a passenger, Danielle Africa, 36, of Canonsburg, had an active Allegheny County warrant. She was arrested and taken to Washington County jail. The driver of the vehicle, Mack Matthews, 60, also of Canonsburg, was charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana, according to police.

Stolen items: A resident of Marlboro Drive reported Wednesday multiple pieces of jewelry, valued at about $4,000, were missing from the home, police said.

Driver injured: A two-vehicle accident Thursday caused an injury to one of the drivers. Police said a vehicle driven by Kathy Cooper of Canonsburg had stopped on East McMurray Road to turn left onto Brookwood Road at 11:45 a.m. and was struck by a vehicle operated by Gary James of McMurray. Cooper sustained a neck injury, according to police.

Threats arrest: Mario Donald Broglia, 22, of 418 Ironwood Drive, Cecil Township, was arrested Sunday by Peters police on a warrant charging him with terroristic threats. He allegedly threatened to kill his former girlfriend and mother of his daughter if she dated another man or brought another man around their child. He was arraigned before District Judge David Mark and placed in Washington County jail without bond. Online records indicate bond was denied because he is a potential threat to the alleged victim.

Vehicle damaged: Bonnie Mae Woods of Avella told South Strabane police Sunday her vehicle was damaged while it was parked at Walmart, Trinity Point.

Window broken: Greg Teagarden of Bloomsburg told South Strabane police Saturday a window on his vehicle was broken while the vehicle was parked at Tanger Outlets.

Man arrested: Robert Thomas, 48, of Pittsburgh, was arrested Friday by Monongahela police on charges of retail theft, obstruction of justice, criminal mischief and traffic violations after he allegedly stole items from Giant Eagle, Route 88, Union. Police said store employees told them he also broke a bottle of wine in the store. He was arraigned before District Judge David Mark and placed in Washington County jail on $25,000 bond.

Drug, weapons arrest: Brandon Ray Cohen, 19, of 676 Buena Vista St., Washington, was arrested early Monday by state police on charges of possession with intent to deliver heroin, firearms not to be carried without a license, possession of paraphernalia and traffic violations stemming from a traffic stop on Shrub Avenue near Hall Avenue. Police said he had a gun in his backpack. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County jail on $100,000 bond.

Harassment charge: Alberto Moss, 23, who reportedly has addresses in Westland and Burgettstown, was charged by Washington police with harassment after he allegedly knocked a 23-year-old Washington woman to the ground early Monday in the 300 block of East Maiden Street.

Man charged: James Elliott, 54, of 113 Gibson Ave., was charged by Washington police with harassment after he allegedly punched a 45-year-old Washington woman during a confrontation at their home Friday.

Assault charge: Jasmine Parson, 18, of 311 Greenside Ave., Canonsburg, will be charged by summons with simple assault after she allegedly punched a 21-year-old Washington woman in the face as she sat in a vehicle in a parking lot on East Wylie Avenue Friday, Washington police said.

Drug charges: City police charged Dustin Brooks, 24, of 2460 Old National Pike, Canton Township, with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. The charges, filed Monday, stem from a July 16 incident at Neighbor Health Center on Leonard Avenue. Police responded to a report of an unconscious man in the second-floor bathroom and said they arrived to find Brooks resisting emergency medical responders and “yelling to get off him.” Police said 35 stamp bags containing suspected heroin, five empty bags, a spoon and a syringe were seized during the incident. It was unclear from court papers precisely where those items were found. Brooks allegedly admitted to using five bags of heroin in the restroom.

PFA violation alleged: James Mayer, 36, of 103 Cecil St., Canonsburg, was charged by summons Monday with indirect criminal contempt. Police said Mayer violated a protection-from-abuse order when he pulled up beside a woman as she was sitting in the parking lot of her workplace on Montgomery Avenue and began speaking to her. He allegedly continued talking to her until she was inside the building.
