The Sam’s Club in Trinity Point shopping center had to be evacuated for about 45 minutes Sunday afternoon following a bomb threat.

Sgt. Brad McClay of the South Strabane Township police said someone called in the threat to the store manager about 2:30, forcing the evacuation. McClay said the Washington County Sheriff’s office brought in its canine unit, and no evidence of a bomb was found. The store later reopened.

The incident is under investigation.
