Multi-vehicle crash in W.Va. closes Interstate 79
Emergency personnel are responding to a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 79 south of the Pennsylvania line in West Virginia.
A 911 operator said fire companies from Greene County are responding to the crash to provide mutual but West Virginia authorities are in charge of the scene.
I-79 is closed in both directions near the West Virginia line, although the Greene County 911 operator did not know how traffic was being rerouted.
The crash occurred at about 4:15 p.m., according to the 911 operator.
