Greene County sheriff issues monthly report for July
WAYNESBURG – Greene County Sheriff Brian Tennant released the following activity reports for July:
• The office processed 50 civil actions and served 52 documents related to civil actions.
• It processed two real estate sales, served papers related to three real estate sales and posted three real estate notices.
• The office processed 16 protection-from-abuse actions and served papers related to 14 PFA actions.
• The office processed 76 licenses to carry concealed weapons.
• Sheriff’s deputies received six warrants and served eight warrants.
• The office processed one personal property document and served two personal property actions.
• Deputies transported six state prison inmates and made 51 county inmate transports.
• The office provided assistance to another outside law enforcement agency six times, performed five special details and made 18 traffic stops.
• Mileage traveled by deputies for the month was 2,810.
