A Washington man told city police he was shot at Thursday night as he sat in his vehicle parked outside his home in the 400 block of Ewing Street.

Keith Rosario, 26, told police he was about to leave in his vehicle around 10:45 p.m. when a small, four-door sedan, possibly a Hyundai with chrome trim, drove past and shots were fired at him, striking his car. Police recovered five 9mm shell casings on the street.

Police had Rosario’s vehicle, a silver 2017 Toyota Camry, towed from the scene. They are continuing their investigation. Rosario told police he did not want to pursue charges.
