CUMBERLAND
Theft: Gloria Patterson, 22, of 415 Sherman Drive, Nemacolin, was charged by Cumberland Township police with theft and receiving stolen property after she allegedly stole a six-piece bedroom set, a two-piece sofa and a memory foam mattress from her brother’s Sherman Avenue property in Nemacolin July 26. Police said Patterson and her boyfriend had been living at the residence with her brother’s permission since July 7, but left the residence without notice and took the furniture without permission.

Theft: Matthew James Roberts, 30, of 305 W. George St., Carmichaels, was charged by state police with two counts each of theft and receiving stolen property after he allegedly stole four tires and wheels from a recently traded-in truck at the South Hills Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership on Route 19 in McMurray. Police said Roberts allegedly stole the tires Aug. 11 or 12 and later sold them to a Monongahela Township man for $900.
WAYNESBURG
Retail theft: Jacquelyn D. Drew, 26, of 2604 E. High St., was charged with retail theft after she allegedly stole a tire gauge from the Sunoco on East Greene Street just before 10 p.m. Aug. 1, Waynesburg police said.
False identification: Jennifer Lynn Colina, 28, of Bridgeville, was charged by state police with giving a false identity to a police officer along with a traffic summary violation following a traffic stop in Greene Street March 27. Police said Colina’s license plate showed that Colina had a suspended license, and when they pulled her over, she told them she was her younger sister. When a Waynesburg borough police officer arrived at the scene, he knew who Colina was and knew it was a false statement, according to the complaint. Colina told police that she gave a different name because she was afraid there might be a warrant for her arrest, according to the criminal complaint.
