Section of Greene Valley Road in Aleppo to close this weekend

A section of Greene Valley Road in Aleppo Township, from Gunn Hill Road to Quiet Dell Road, will close at 6 a.m. Saturday and tentatively reopen at 5 a.m. Monday.

The road will be closed to allow Rice Poseidon Midstream LLC to install a natural gas pipeline, the state Department of Transportation said.

The posted detour will use Greene Valley Road, Aleppo Road, McCracken Road and direct traffic back to Greene Valley Road.
