Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court on criminal charges. Among those appearing before Judge Gary Gilman were:
Robert Neil Bozic, 64, 9312 Noblestown Road, McDonald; two counts of open lewdness; charged May 19 and June 22; sentence – 12 months of probation.
Appearing before Judge John F. DiSalle:
Fawn Ruth Ferrara, 46, 308 Barr St., McDonald; driving under the influence; charged Sept. 4, 2015; sentence – five years in the intermediate punishment program, three months on electronic home monitoring, three months of ScramX monitor, $1,500 fine, 18-month driver’s license suspension and 12 months of ignition interlock device.
Ryan Keith Kelly, 26, 819 Evergreen Drive, Washington; driving under the influene and possession of drug paraphernalia; charged Jan. 29; sentence – five years in the intermediate punishment program, six months on electronic home monitoring, $1,500 fine, 18-month driver’s license suspension and 12 months of ignition interlock device.
Jona S. Swisher, 39, 511 McClane Farm Road, Washington; driving under the influence, endangering the welfare of a child and driving with a suspended license; charged May 23; sentence – two years of probation, five years in the intermediate punishment program, 12 months and 90 days on electronic home monitoring, $3,500 fine, 30-month driver’s license suspension, 12 months of ignition interlock device and 100 hours of community service.
Aaron W. Poole, 48, 38 Central Ave., Washington; driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license; charged June 27, 2016; sentence – 30 days in jail, six months in the intermediate punishment program, 120 days on electronic home monitoring, $1,300 fine, 24-month driver’s license suspension and 12 months of ignition interlock device.
Jerry Russell Scott III, 37, 828 Governors Circle, Washington; driving under the influence; charged Jan. 29; sentence – six months in the intermediate punishment program, 10 days on electronic home monitoring, $1,000 fine and 12-month driver’s license suspension.
John Clark Neal, 53, 280 Hays Road, Pittsburgh; driving under the influence and endangering the welfare of a child; charged Oct. 7, 2016; sentence – 18 months of probation, six months in the intermediate punishment program, 10 days on electronic home monitoring and $300 fine.
Lyle Meridith Areford, 44, 47 Main St., McClellandtown; driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license; charged March 20; sentence – five years in the intermediate punishment program, 18 months on electronic home monitoring, $5,000 fine, 18-month driver’s license suspension, 12 months of ignition interlock device and 100 hours of community service.
Carol Elizabeth Jackson, 52, 809 Lookout Ave., Charleroi; retail theft and possession of a controlled substance; charged April 12 and 26; sentence – 12 months of probation, five years in the intermediate punishment program, six months on electronic home monitoring and 100 hours of community service.
Timothy John Toth, 49, 1 Short St., Apt. 2, Elrama; possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of driving under the influence; charged May 30, 2016, and Feb. 11; sentence – six months of probation, five years in the intermediate punishment program, 12 months on electronic home monitoring, $2,800 fine, 18-month driver’s license suspension, 12 months of ignition interlock device and 100 hours of community service.

Waltrowski, 71, 6141 Brownsville Road Extension, Finleyville; driving under the influence; charged Oct. 1, 2016; sentence – five years in the intermediate punishment program, six months on electronic home monitoring, $1,500 fine, 18-month driver’s license suspension, 12 months of ignition interlock device and 100 hours of community service.
Bruce Edward Mitchell, 54, 638 W. Pike St., Houston; driving under the influence; charged Dec. 2; sentence – five years in the intermediate punishment program, 12 months on electronic home monitoring, $2,500 fine, 18-month driver’s license suspension, 12 months of ignition interlock device and 100 hours of community service.
Jacqueline Ann Sento, 51, 204 Third St., 2nd Floor, California; driving under the influence; charged Oct. 7, 2016; sentence – five years in the intermeidate punishment program, 12 months on electronic home monitoring, $2,500 fine, 18-month driver’s license suspension, 12 months of ignition interlock device and 100 hours of community service.
Mitchell David Crispin, 54, 55 Cracraft Road, Washington; driving under the influence; charged Sept. 16, 2016; sentence – five years in the intermediate punishment program, 12 months on electronic home monitoring, $2,500 fine, 18-month driver’s license suspension, 12 months of ignition interlock device and 100 hours of community service.
Samantha Abbott, 24, 106 N. 12th St., Dakota City, Neb.; conspiracy to commit retail theft, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of retail theft; charged June 28 and Aug. 9; sentence – 24 months of probation, restitution and no contact with Kohl’s and Target.
Joanne Mattey, 49, 604 Fallowfield Ave., Apt. 2, Charleroi; retail theft; charged July 26; sentence – six months of probation, restitution and no contact with Dollar General.
Appearing before Judge Michael J. Lucas:
Rondell Leverne Johnson, 37, 502 Franklin Ave., Apt. A, Canonsburg; possession of a small amount of marijuana and restrictions on alcoholic beverages; charged April 21; sentence – 27 months of probation, $300 fine and 10 hours of community service.
The following recently appeared in Washington County Court for first offenses of driving under the influence and were admitted to the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition program. If they successfully complete the program, they can petition the court to have their records expunged: Ashlie Marie Andrews, 29, 653 N. Main St., Houston; Nicholas Patton, 20, 1275 Martha St., Castle Shannon; and Ronald Joseph Pritts II, 41, 264 Laddie Drive, Washington.
Jason Allan Dillon, 19, 283 Fox Road, Avella – possession of a weapon on school property; and Richard Ernest Hull III, 25, 984 McCormick Road, Brackney – possession of a controlled substance.
