Fuel tanker spills on Thomas Eighty Four Road in North Strabane

A fuel tanker truck overturned on Thomas Eighty Four Road in North Strabane Township, leaking gallons of fuel near the roadway Tuesday afternoon.

According to a Washington County 911 supervisor, the tanker overturned about 3:30 p.m. North Strabane Township police closed the road and will be investigating the spill.

The supervisor did not know how many gallons of fuel leaked from the truck and no other information about the crash was available Tuesday afternoon.
