BENTLEYVILLE

Theft arrest: Daniel T. Kister, 41, of 215 McKean Ave., Charleroi, was arrested Friday by Bentleyville police after he allegedly stole a man’s wallet from a waiting room of an office at 147 Wilson Road on Thursday. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward on charges of theft and receiving stolen property. He was released from Washington County Jail after posting a $1,000 percentage bond.

CALIFORNIA

Assault arrest: Nathaniel Smith, 28, of 988 Cross St., California, was arrested Saturday by borough police on charges of strangulation, simple assault and harassment after he allegedly grabbed his wife by the neck during a confrontation at their home. She told police that she punched him in an effort to get him away from her. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County Jail on $25,000 bond.

Disorderly house: Brandon David Smart, 22, of Conway, Beaver County, will be charged by California police with violating the borough’s disorderly house ordinance after officers were called early Saturday to his apartment at 512 Second St. for a report of loud music.

CECIL

Driver charged: Kenneth Glendenning, 25, of 537 Giffin Ave., Canonsburg, was charged Friday by Cecil police with possession and possession with intent to deliver cocaine and possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, as well as traffic violations, stemming from a traffic stop at the intersection of Georgetown and Morganza roads. The suspected drugs were found in his vehicle, police said. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and released from Washington County Jail after posting $25,000 bond.

CHARLEROI

Assault arrest: Humphrey Blake of 1014 McKean Ave., Charleroi, was arrested Friday by Charleroi Regional police on charges of aggravated assault, terroristic threats, reckless endangerment and harassment after he allegedly assaulted his wife and her daughter the previous day during a confrontation at their home. He was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and released Monday from Washington County Jail after posting $25,000 bond.

CLAYSVILLE

Father charged: Benjamin L. Hathaway of 477 Rural Valley Road, Claysville, was charged Monday by McGuffey School District police with theft of services after he allegedly failed to pay a $1,102.45 cafeteria bill at Claysville Elementary School. He reportedly did not respond to notices sent by the school. The charge will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Ethan Ward.

DONEGAL

Indecent assault arrest: Kemp Whisner, 68, of 8 Carman Drive, West Alexander, was arraigned last week before District Judge Ethan Ward on charges of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, aggravated indecent assault of a child and indecent assault filed by Donegal police after he allegedly had inappropriate contact with a girl between 2010 and 2017. He was released on $100,000 unsecured bond.

MONESSEN

Assaults alleged: Joshua Gazkik, 40, of 225 Shawnee Ave., Monessen, is charged by city police with simple assault, harassment and trespassing over allegations he struck David Bartley with a snow shovel and Kimberly Byrd in the head about 10 p.m. Nov. 22, court records show. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued the charges via summons Thursday.

Drug charge filed: Michael A. Fincik II, 41, of 905 Fellsburg Road, Rostraver Township, is charged by city police with possessing seven stamp bags of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from a traffic stop about 4 a.m. Nov. 22 at Route 906 and the Donora-Monessen Bridge, court records show. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued the charges via summons Thursday.

HOUSTON

Robbery warrant: Tina Temple, 43, of Pittsburgh, was arrested Sunday on a warrant on charges of robbery, theft and receiving stolen property filed by state police after she allegedly stole a cellphone and $560 from a Houston woman July 5. She was arraigned before District Judge Ethan Ward and placed in Washington County Jail on a $10,000 percentage bond.

WASHINGTON

Charged with false alarms: Bertram Mitchell of 473 E. Hallam Ave., Washington, will be charged by Washington police with calling in false alarms to police after he reportedly made 39 false calls this year.

Gun stolen: Catherine Spencer of Washington told Washington policed Friday that a gun was stolen from a home in the 500 block of Fayette Street.

Man robbed: William Pyles of Washington told Washington police Friday that he was robbed of $10 while walking in an alley off Henderson Avenue near Jefferson Avenue. The robber was a white man wearing a brown, hooded shirt and blue jeans.

Items stolen: Sharon Stone of 375 Locust Ave. told Washington police Friday that coffee cups, an air mattress, a table lamp, an electric guitar and two paintings were stolen from a storage locker in her apartment building.
