Trinity holds reorganization meeting
Trinity Area School Board held its reorganization meeting Thursday.
Jennifer Morgan was re-elected president of the school board, and Kerrin McIlvaine was re-elected as vice president.
The board regretfully accepted the resignation of director Frank Golsky, because of health reasons.
Former school board member Sean Dobich was appointed to fill the remainder of Golsky’s term, which ends in December 2019.
Also Thursday, the board reappointed Peacock Keller as solicitor.
In other business, the board:
- Accepted the resignation of Trinity North Elementary principal Dr. Beth Tully, who is retiring.
- Approved hiring William Tracey as elementary principal at a salary of $84,600, effective Feb. 1, 2018.
- Approved the resignation of food service manager Tracy Durbin.
- Approved a lump-sum retirement incentive of $20,000 for certain administrators who submit a letter of resignation by Jan. 11, 2018, to retire before June 30, 2018.
