CALIFORNIA

Underage drinking charge: Madison Lee Colucci, 20, of New Eagle, was charged by California police with underage drinking after police were called Nov. 28 to a domestic incident at 234 Second St. The charge was sent by summons Wednesday from the office of District Judge Joshua Kanalis.

CANONSBURG

Assault arrest: Harry Young, 50, of 122 Church Way, Canonsburg, was arrested Wednesday night by Canonsburg police on charges of simple assault, public drunkenness and harassment after he allegedly assaulted his girlfriend on a sidewalk in front of 45 E. Pike St. Young, who is in Washington County Jail on a parole detainer, was arraigned before District Judge Robert Redlinger, who set a $5,000 percentage bond.

CANTON

Firearms charge: Desmond Louis Lightfoot, 24, of 240 Duncan Ave., Washington, was arraigned Tuesday on charges of carrying a firearm without a license and false identification to police stemming from a Nov. 21 traffic stop at Jessop Street and Dillie Street, Canton. He was a passenger in the vehicle when it was stopped by state police. He was arraigned before District Judge David Mark and placed in Washington County Jail on $25,000 bond.

MONESSEN

Man wanted: Brian Harris, 20, of 700 First St., Charleroi, is charged by city police with fleeing from police, driving without a license and reckless endangerment over allegations he led officers on a high-speed chase before it was called off about 5:40 p.m. Dec. 1, court records show. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso signed a warrant Tuesday for Harris’ arrest.

Woman charged: Ashley Marie Shepard, 32, of 413 Ontario St., Monessen, is charged by city police with possessing one dose of Suboxone when officers were sent to her residence to investigate a disturbance about 11 p.m. Dec. 9, court records show. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued the charge by summons Tuesday.

NORTH FRANKLIN

Driver injured: Lucas James Nuzum, 39, of 221 North Ave., Washington, was injured early Sunday when his vehicle was hit from behind by a vehicle driven by Brandon Paul Miller, 27, of Laceyville, Wyoming County, at the intersection of Franklin Farms Road and West Chestnut Street, North Franklin police said. Miller allegedly fled. Police said he will be charged with leaving the scene of an accident and careless driving.

NORTH STRABANE

Casino charges: Tierra Shavon Pope, 35, of East McKeesport, was charged Tuesday by state police at The Meadows Casino with possession of marijuana and paraphernalia after she allegedly left a small bag of marijuana as a tip for a staff member at Headliners Lounge on Dec. 2. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

DUI, drug charges: Geovanne Robert Robison, 21, of 132 Manown Lane, Belle Vernon, was charged Wednesday by North Strabane police with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and paraphernalia and not having inspection or registration stemming from a Dec. 3 traffic stop on Route 19 at Linden Road. The charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

ROSTRAVER

Assault charges: Township police charged Donald W. Hall, 57, of Van Meter Drive on Wednesday with two counts each of simple assault and harassment. The charges stem from an incident about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday when Hall allegedly threw his girlfriend to the ground, slapped her in the face and spit on her sweater at the Broad Avenue residence he shares with her and her son. Hall also allegedly pushed her adult son into a window and punched him several times in the face. Hall was arraigned before District Judge Roger Eckels and is free on $2,500 unsecured bond.

SOUTH STRABANE

Theft charge: Latoya M. Rosiek, 32, of 1 Oak St., Muse, was charged Wednesday by South Strabane police with retail theft for allegedly stealing an item from Lowe’s, Strabane Square, on Dec. 4. She also is charged with criminal conspiracy and possession of paraphernalia. Charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Jay Weller.

Vehicle overturns: Mohammed Sesay, 25, of Whitehall, suffered minor injuries when his vehicle hit a tractor-trailer while merging onto Interstate 70 west at the south junction of Interstate 79 about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, state police said. His vehicle then rolled three times before coming to rest in the median. He will be cited for careless driving.
