Marianna councilman not guilty of harboring dangerous dog
A Marianna councilman was found not guilty this week of harboring a dangerous dog in a case that stemmed from an incident in which James David Faure’s dog bit a boy in his neighborhood in May.
District Judge Curtis Thompson issued the verdict at a hearing Wednesday for Faure, who was ordered to pay fines for related minor offenses, court records show.
State police issued the charges after Faure’s dog bit the boy May 25, causing injuries that required stitches.
