Man jailed: Bryan Delong Schaeffer, 37, of 1933-A Route 2023, Carroll Township, is charged by Carroll police with simple assault over allegations he struck Aylssa Wickerham in the face with set of metal keys in his residence about 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, court records show. Schaeffer is in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond set by District Judge Mark Wilson.
Man jailed: Edwin Green, 42, of 515 Blind Lane, Belle Vernon, is charged by Charleroi Regional police with resisting arrest over allegations he needed to be pulled out of a basement hiding place when officers were summoned to a robbery at 713 Washington Ave. about 3 a.m. Tuesday, court records show. Police sent Green to Westmoreland County jail on a warrant in an unrelated theft and robbery case.
One hurt: Shannon Roupe, 36, of Waynesburg, suffered a minor injury when her car was rear-ended while stopped at the Houston on-ramp to Interstate 79 south at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, state police said. The driver of the other vehicle, Garrett Ware, 20, of Washington, was not hurt. Roupe was taken to Canonsburg Hospital for treatment.
Officers pushed: Oneida Keasley, 34, of 627 Chestnut St., Donora, is charged by borough police with making false reports, resisting arrest and simple assault, court records show. Police accuse her of shoving two officers who responded to her residence over a burglary report about 9:30 p.m. Sunday, court records show. District Judge Mark Wilson signed a warrant for her arrest Monday.
Drug charge: Jacob John Hajostek, 20, of 260 Skyline Drive, Rostraver Township, is charged by city police with possessing four stamp bags of heroin stemming from a traffic stop about 12:45 p.m. Jan. 27, court records show. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso issued the case in a summons Wednesday.
Man charged: Michael D. Fulmore Sr., 44, of 368 Pennsylvania Ave., Speers, is charged by city police with unsworn falsification and illegal sale or transfer of a firearm over allegations he put false information on an application to purchase a weapon at Lacey Firearms, 306 E. Main St., about 11:40 a.m. Sept. 27, court records show. District Judge Mark Wilson signed a warrant for Fulmore’s arrest Monday.
Warrants signed: Robert Charles Marshall, 35, of 10 Elm Ave., Monessen, and Crystal Ann Bakes, 25, of 503 Painter St., Youngwood, are each charged by state police with drug possession with intent to deliver, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from a traffic stop at Pricedale Road and Route 201 about 11:45 a.m. March 7, 2016, court records show. Police said 102 stamp bags of heroin were found in Bakes’ vehicle after it was impounded. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso sighed warrants for their arrests Thursday.
Hit-and-run: A car driven by Vincent Campbell, 27, of Monessen, was struck in the rear while in the passing lane of Interstate 70 east early Thursday, state police said. The other vehicle fled. Campbell was not hurt.
Thefts from vehicles: Several vehicles were broken into overnight Wednesday. Karen Ruby of 605 Murdoch St. told city police $25 in change and a $50 gift card were stolen from her vehicle during the night. Ryan Ward of Redstone Lane said his wallet and his girlfriend’s purse, along with credit cards and identification cards, were stolen from their vehicles. Also, the window of a vehicle owned by the wife of Joseph Moschetta, also of Redstone Lane, was broken and a purse was stolen. At least four other vehicles were broken into.
