Crash: A pickup truck struck the McDonald’s drive thru speaker with its trailer and fled the scene around 8 p.m. Wednesday at fast food restaurant’s Sugar Run Road location in Franklin Township. Police said the driver was Benjamin Howard II, 51, of Carmichaels.

Theft: An unknown actor stole $20 from a woman’s purse Feb. 12 in the 900 block of 4th Avenue, Franklin Township.
