Damage reported: Tabitha Raven Berry of Dawson told state police Saturday her vehicle was damaged while parked at 304 Old West Road, Bentleyville.

Daughter arrested: Darlo Doreen Bongiorni, 39, of 5 Hillcrest Ave., Burgettstown, was arrested Wednesday night by Burgettstown police for allegedly assaulting her mother during a confrontation at her mother’s home at 24 Hillcrest. Sandra Bongiorni told police the two got into an argument and her daughter, who reportedly was intoxicated, struck her in the collarbone. Darlo Bongiorni was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller on charges of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct and released.

Scam reported: The son of an elderly Burgettstown man told McDonald police Wednesday his father received a call from a person claiming the man’s grandson had been in a crash and was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. The caller claimed the grandson needed $1,473 sent electronically to a location in Allentown, Lehigh County, and left a number, supposedly for an attorney. A bank employee realized it was a scam and told them not to send the money.

Bogus call: The owner of a Burgettstown business told McDonald police Wednesday she got a call from someone claiming to be from West Penn Power advising her the account was overdue and she needed to send prepaid credit cards to make the payment. The owner contacted the power company and learned that her account balance was zero and she was not in arrears.

PFA violation alleged: Nicole Marie Fuller, 29, of 1401 Sheridan Ave., Brownsville, was arrested Friday night by California police for allegedly violating a protection-from-abuse order obtained by her estranged boyfriend. He told police she chased him with her vehicle and on foot. She was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

Warrant arrest: Johnny M. Brown Jr., 35, of 2463 Brookledge Road, South Fayette Township, was arrested Monday at his home on a warrant obtained by Canonsburg police charging him with firearms violations stemming from a Dec. 24 incident in a Cavasina Drive parking lot. He was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and released on $25,000 unsecured bond.

Assault arrest: Catherine H. Asay, 48, of 1400 Main St., Canonsburg, was arrested early Sunday by Cecil police on a charge of simple assault for allegedly assaulting her fiance during a confrontation at their home. She is accused of hitting him in the face with a liquor bottle. Police said Asay was found hiding in a fourth-floor storage area. She was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

Driver arrested: Alexandria E. Clark, 23, of Morgantown, W.Va., was arrested early Friday by Cecil police on charges of DUI after she allegedly was found passed out at the wheel of her vehicle at a stop sign at Fawcett Church and Morganza roads. Police said the vehicle was in drive, and her foot was on the brake. Police said they had to force open the passenger side of the car and place the vehicle in park. Clark was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and released on her own recognizance.

Husband arrested: Kenneth C. Johnson, 35, of 608 Monongahela Ave., Charleroi, was arrested Monday by Charleroi Regional police on charges of simple assault and harassment for allegedly hitting his wife in the face during a confrontation at their home. He was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and released on $10,000 unsecured bond.

Endangerment, assault charges: Chester Ott, 27, of 1033 McKean Ave., Donora, was arrested Monday by Donora police on charges of endangering the welfare of children, simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment. He is accused of hitting a woman as she held her 4-year-old son during a confrontation at their home. He was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

Vehicle damaged: Vincent Dechurch of 202 Jefferson St., Midway, told McDonald police Dec. 27 his vehicle was damaged while parked outside his home.

Theft case: Staisha Michelle Gereshenski, 29, of 410 Washington Ave., Charleroi, is charged by city police with theft, tampering with records and forgery, court records show. Police accuse Gereshenski of stealing $9,788 in state lottery income and 49 cartons of cigarettes while she worked at a Puff N Stuff, 301 Donner Ave., between Sept. 4 and Oct. 3, 2016. District Judge Joseph Dalfonso signed an arrest warrant in the case Friday.

Assault alleged: Kyle Ross, 44, of 710 Sixth St., Monessen, is charged by city police with harassment, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest over allegations he struck Linda Carter in the face in his residence about 5 a.m. Sunday, court records show. Ross is in Westmoreland County jail on $2,500 bond set by District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.

Drug arrest: Percy Lee Majors, 52, of 538 Ninth St., Monessen, is charged by city police with possessing a small amount of crushed hydrocodone tablets, giving police a false identification and possession of drug paraphernalia stemming from a traffic stop at Parente and Grand boulevards about 2:30 a.m. Dec. 29, court records show. Majors is in Westmoreland County jail on $25,000 bond set by District Judge Joseph Dalfonso.

Theft, drug arrest: Zackery A. Maier, 33, of 456 Malone Ridge Road, Canton Township, was arrested Sunday by North Franklin police on charges of retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia after he allegedly stole two pairs of shoes from the Finish Line, Washington Crown Center. Police said they found him with four empty stamp bags believed to have contained heroin and an unused needle. He was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

Woman arrested: Tara A. Howard, 40, of 150 Walker Road, North Strabane, was arrested Sunday by township police on charges of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct after she allegedly bit her fiance and scratched him in the face during a confrontation at their home. She was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in Washington County jail without bond after she reportedly said she would not comply with the conditions of bond. She allegedly told Weller she planned to return to the house despite being ordered not to go back.

Trespass arrest: Lynden John Ross Neill, 27, of 357 Linden Road, North Strabane, was arrested Thursday night by township police on charges of criminal trespass and possession of paraphernalia after he allegedly entered a home at 374 Linden without permission. He was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

Theft arrest: Michael Coates, 42, of Pittsburgh, was arrested Monday by Peters police on a charge of theft after he allegedly was seen loading pallets into his vehicle from outside a business at 4275 Washington Road. He was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson and placed in Washington County jail on a $50,000 percentage bond.

Teens charged: Logan D. Armstrong, 19, of Pittsburgh, and Victor Migliuolo, 19, of 560 Taylor Drive, Canonsburg, were charged by McDonald police with disorderly conduct after they allegedly were found with suspected marijuana while officers were responding to 1325 Second St., Robinson, for a report of a suspected underage drinking party. Ty Lesko, 19, of 1325 Second, was charged with underage drinking.

Assault, endangerment arrest: Selena Latosha Bailey, 32, of 511 Joffre-Bulger Road, Joffre, was arrested Friday night by Smith police on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment, harassment and disorderly conduct after she allegedly came toward her husband with a knife during a confrontation at their home. Her husband told police she also hit him with a broom, and he locked himself in the bedroom to get away from her. Police said several items were thrown throughout the house. Bailey was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

Vehicle entered: Mitch Malik of 97 Elberta Ave. told South Strabane police Sunday items were stolen from his vehicle while it was parked outside his home.

Warrant arrest: Donald Lee Kosek Jr., 30, of 412 Houston St., Washington, was arrested Friday on a warrant obtained by Washington police on two counts of burglary and one count of receiving stolen property. He is accused of burglarizing Lombardi Auto Repair, 99 E. Maiden St., Nov. 24 and again Nov. 25. Police said $2,000 in tools and equipment were stolen from the business. He was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in Washington County jail on $10,000 bond.

Assault arrest: Tuesday L. Wheeler, 30, of 349 Shirls Ave., Washington, was arrested Friday night by Washington police on a charge of simple assault after she allegedly punched another woman above the eye during a confrontation at 540 W. Chestnut St. She was arraigned before District Judge Jay Weller and placed in Washington County jail on $5,000 bond.

Driver faces charges: Dalton Ammons, 35, of Summerlea Avenue, Washington, faces charges including DUI after allegedly crashing his vehicle into a utility pole in the 10 block of South Lincoln Avenue early Tuesday while driving the wrong way, Washington police said. Blood was drawn to determine his alcohol content.

House entered: Chelsie Wise of 259 Lincoln Terrace told Washington police Monday an acquaintance entered her home without permission, demanded her pass code for her cellphone and then threw items around the residence. He fled when she called police. Charges are pending.

Vehicles entered: Denise Bird of East Washington and Mike Bossic of Washington had their vehicles entered while the vehicles were parked Monday at Washington High School, 201 Allison Ave. Bird reported a wallet stolen, while Bossic said nothing was stolen from his truck.

Wallet stolen: Pamela Smith of Washington told Washington police Monday her vehicle was broken into and her wallet containing debit and credit cards was stolen while the vehicle was parked at McDonald’s, 999 Jefferson Ave.
