Charged in assault: Christopher Harris, 32, of 820 Grove St., Canton, was charged by state police with simple assault and harasssment after he allegedly grabbed the arm of his 26-year-old girlfriend and pushed her into a wall during a Dec. 29 confrontation at their home. Police said the confrontation started as an argument over a diaper bag. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Harasssment charge: Christopher Sickman of 235 Reed Ave., Houston, was charged by state police with harassment after he allegedly sent lewd text messages to a 27-year-old Canton woman. The charge was sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Paraphernalia charges: Korinne R. Mendicino, 24, of 795 Addison St., Washington, was charged by state police with four counts of possession of paraphernalia. Police said Mendicino was found with a needle and other items when troopers were called to investigate a Dec. 23 crash in which she was involved on Sheffield Street at the ramp to Interstate 70 at Jessop Place, Canton. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Bar cited: The operators of Myford Hotel, 700-702 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, were cited last week by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for reportedly selling liquor to a 20-year-old in June.

Caregiver charged: Mandy May Holmes, 30, of 27 Scenic Drive, Washington, was charged last week by Chartiers police with theft and reciving stolen property. She is accused of stealing $450 in gift cards from a Cummins Avenue man while working as a visiting aide in his home in November. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Charged in stop: Roger A. Hendricks, 51, of 155 Marshall St., Meadow Lands, was charged last week by state police with possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia and driving under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance, as well as traffic offenses, stemming from a Nov. 12 traffic stop on West Pike Street near Second Street in Chartiers. Police said his blood-alcohol content was almost three times the 0.08 percent limit at which intoxication is presumed. He also tested positive for cocaine, according to court records. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Drug, paraphernalia charges: Danielle Metts, 48, of 130 Sugar Maple Circle, North Franklin, was charged Friday by North Franklin police with possession of heroin and paraphernalia and public drunkenness stemming from an incident in a West Chestnut Street parking lot Dec. 22. The charges were sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Drug charges: Cody R. Howard, 25, was charged by state police with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct after a search warrant was executed Dec. 31 at 815 S. Main St. Police said Howard, who was wanted on a probation violation out of Butler County, was found to have 15 unknown pills, methamphetamine and marijuana when he was searched. Howard waived his right to a Washington County arraignment and was transported to Butler County Jail. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Drug charges: Two men face drug charges following a Jan. 1 traffic stop in the 500 block of East McMurray Road. Police said driver Lucas Nissly and passenger Joseph Spinabelli, both of Peters Township, were acting nervous and making suspicious movements during the stop. A search of the vehicle revealed suspected marijuana and paraphernalia, according to police. Nissly and Spinabelli will be charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Yard, fence damaged: Tiffany Yurinko of 388 Manifold Road told South Strabane police that her fence and yard were damaged Tuesday.

PFA violation alleged: Yolanda Sanders, 36, of 473 E. Hallam Ave., Washington, was arrested Tuesday by Washington police for allegedly violating a protection-from-abuse order signed by President Judge Katherine B. Emery that had been served on her earlier in the day. Police said they removed her from the property and then saw her returning to it. She was again told to leave but allegedly refused. When police told her she was under arrest, she reportedly dropped to the ground and refused to stand up. She was arraigned before District Judge Curtis Thompson on the PFA violation and placed in Washington County Jail on $5,000. Police also plan to charge her with resisting arrest.

Change stolen: Ashley Talley of Washington told Washington police Tuesday that change was stolen from her vehicle while she was working at Goodwill, 89 Jefferson Ave.

Liquor law violation alleged: The operator of Peppino’s, 234 S. Main St., was cited Dec. 19 by the state police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement for allegedly furnishing alcohol to a 20-year-old in September.

Assault charge: Monttia Evans, 24, of 616 Talbot Ave., Braddock, was charged Wednesday by Washington police with simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment in connection with a fight Aug. 12 outside 105 Henderson Ave. A Washington woman said she suffered a minor injury when Evans pulled her from her car, which was in reverse, causing her foot to be run over by a tire. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

False ID charge: James Robson V, 35, of 23 Virginia Drive, Lincoln, was charged with providing false information for gun ownership and providing a false statement in connection with an attempted gun purchase June 25 from Route 19 EZ Cash, 110 Highland Ave. According to Washington police, Robson has a prior arrest record that prohibits him from purchasing a gun. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.

Man charged: Charles S. Crichfield, 54, of 29 W. Cherry Ave., Washington, was charged Wednesday by the Washington County Sheriff’s Department with furnishing drug-free urine for a woman on probation. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge Robert Redlinger.
