Action: Supervisors approved the 2017 general, fire protection and machinery fund budgets, with a combined real estate tax rate of 1.03 mills. Total expenditures are expected to be $13,083,935. This is the 24th year the township has not raised taxes.

Laurel Communities and Presbyterian SeniorCare were granted tentative approval for Laurel Landing, a senior, planned mixed-residential development with 90 single-family units, 41 townhouse units and 70 apartment units on McDowell Lane. The development is located in an R-3 residential district, on 57 acres near Canonsburg Lake.

Supervisors approved a conditional-use application from EQM Gathering for a metering station, located on the Bier well pad, 2164 Washington Road, in an R-2 residential district.
