Greene court cases
WAYNESBURG – Seven criminal defendants were entered into the accelerated rehabilitative disposition program Monday by Greene County Judge Louis Dayich.
Those accepted into the program serve at least one year of probation. Defendants charged with driving under the influence may also have their driving privileges suspended. Those who successfully complete the program can petition the court to have their criminal records expunged.
Kyle Robert Fitzpatrick, 19, of 258 Calvert St., Bridgeville, charged with harassment and stalking; on Sept. 9, Fitzpatrick threatened his ex-girlfriend by text message and indicated he was armed, police said.
Jesse Anthony Mastley, 35, of 100 Pennsylvania Ave., Hundred, W.Va., charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and five summary traffic violations; arrested Aug. 13, he had a blood-alcohol content of 0.162 percent, police said.
Denise C. Smyth, 45, of 618 E. Greene St., Waynesburg, charged with DUI and a summary traffic violation; arrested Aug. 9 after crashing her motorcycle; Smyth had a BAC of 0.230 percent, police said.
Carly Taylor Collins, 21, of 85 Arlington Drive, Wheeling, W.Va., charged with DUI, possession of a controlled substance and two summary traffic violations; arrested Feb. 20; police said Collins was under the influence of Alprazolam and possessed 20 Alprazolam pills.
Jennifer L. Marshall, 35, of 419 Ceylon Road, Carmichaels, charged with harassment, public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and endangering the welfare of a child; on July 21, Marshall allegedly dragged her daughter by the hair and her son by the ear while at Wana B Park; she refused to cooperate with police.
Brenton Shane Sink, 23, of 143 Route 21 East, Carmichaels; charged with DUI and three summary violations; arrested March 18, Sink had a BAC of 0.157 percent.
Teresa Barth, 37, of 304 Jennings Ave., Waynesburg, charged with DUI, two summary violations and possession of a controlled substance; arrested Feb. 17, Barth has a BAC of 0.160 percent and possessed 12 Vicodin pills, police said.
