Man sentenced in Washington drug raid
A Pittsburgh man was sentenced Thursday on felony drug charges in connection with a September drug raid in which 1,200 bags of heroin were confiscated.
Dontaey L. Clites, 25, of 2174 Whitehill Drive, Pittsburgh, was sentenced to 7 1/2 to 14 years in state prison on charges of possession with intent to deliver and person not to possess a firearm.
Clites pleaded guilty to the charges before Washington County Judge Gary Gilman.
On Sept. 8, Washington County Drug Task Force detectives and state police executed a search warrant in an apartment at 175 Brookside Ave., Washington, where Clites, who has a previous felony conviction, had 20 bricks of heroin and a stolen 9 mm gun in his possession.
“This was a solid cooperative effort by law enforcement with the goal of getting another heroin dealer out of our community, Washington County District Attorney Eugene A. Vittone stated in a media release.
