Numerous people recently appeared in Washington County Court on criminal charges. Among those appearing before Judge Gary Gilman were:

Amanda L. Kokay, 25, 311C McGirts Road, Daisytown; possession of a controlled substance; charged July 8; sentence – six months of probation without verdict.

Angelina I. Atkinson, 30, of Muse; possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension; charged May 20; sentence – 60 days on electronic home monitoring, six months of probation and $500 fine.
John M. Fowler, 21, 475 Franklin Terrace, Washington; possession of drug paraphernalia and simple assault; charged April 7 and May 2; sentence – 20 days to 12 months in jail, 12 months of probation, 25 hours of community service and no contact with victim.
Eric W. Johnson, 28, 255 Duncan Ave., Washington; fleeing, simple possession, driving under suspension and operating a vehicle without a valid inspection; charged May 11; sentence – six to 23 months in jail, 12 months of probation and $225 fine.
