Trespass, false ID charges: Dina Lynette Monk, 32, of 106 Vine Alley, Marianna, was charged last week by Bentleyville police after they said she was found inside her former apartment on Russie Avenue. Police said a doorknob was broken on the apartment and she was found hiding in a bathroom. Police said she also gave them an incorrect name. Monk was placed in Washington County jail on a probation violation. Charges of criminal trespass, false identification to police and disorderly conduct were filed at the office of District Judge Curtis Thompson.

Terroristic threats: A 17-year-old West Newton boy faces juvenile charges filed Monday by California police after he got into a fight with members of the AKL fraternity in a parking lot behind their house at 600 Wood St. Dec. 3 and pulled out a knife. He was charged with terroristic threats, prohibited offensive weapons, harassment and disorderly conduct.

Woman assaulted: Jolene Anderson, 22, of 45 Mobile Road, Washington, was charged by Canonsburg police with simple assault and harassment after she allegedly punched a 49-year-old Cecil woman in the face during a confrontation Friday night at 401 Highfield Ave. Police said Anderson was at the home to watch her sister’s child. Anderson waived immediate arraignment. Charges will be sent by summons from the office of District Judge David Mark.

Fender dented: James Petrick of Chartiers told Chartiers police Saturday the rear fender of his vehicle was kicked while he was a friend’s home in the 600 block of Hickory Ridge Road.

Tire slashed: Don Snedeker of 211 Third St. told Chartiers police Saturday a tire on his vehicle was slashed.

One-vehicle crash: Two people suffered minor injuries when their car hit a guardrail on Interstate 70 at 7 p.m. Saturday, state police said. Donyell M. Smith, 18, of Columbus, Ohio, was traveling east when the vehicle in front of him hit the brakes. He slammed on his brakes and hit the guardrail. A passenger, Tracey L. Williams, 46, of Columbus, Ohio, also suffered minor injuries.

Two injured: North Strabane police said two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash about 7:15 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Morganza and McClelland roads. Police said a pickup truck driven by Antonio Mucci, 34, of Blue Jay Drive, North Strabane, made a left turn from Morganza, hitting a vehicle traveling the opposite direction driven by Joseph M. Parrish, 66, of Evans City. Parrish and his passenger, Anne Schmider, 62, of Mapleridge Drive, Canonsburg, were taken by ambulance to Canonsburg Hospital.

Cellphone stolen: Eric Young of 50 Lee Ave. told South Strabane police Saturday his cellphone was stolen from his vehicle.

Church entered: Washington police were called to Trinity Church, 550 S. Main St., at 4:30 am. Monday for a report of a break-in. A padlock had been cut on an outer door and the frame was damaged from being pried open. No items appeared to have been stolen.

Disorderly conduct charges: Daniel Amons, 29, of 550 Bell Run Road, Spraggs, was cited with two counts of disorderly conduct for allegedly attempting to break into cars parked in the area of 575 Fayette St. Sunday.

Items stolen: A woman reported to Washington police that someone entered her car overnight from Saturday to Sunday while it was parked in the area of 565 Broad St. A GPS and loose change were reported stolen.

Fake currency used: A man in his late 50s to early 60s, described as balding with a white beard, paid for cigarettes with a counterfeit $20 bill Sunday at Dollar General, 155 W. Beau St. According to Washington police, the fake money had “Vote Trump 2016” written on it in black permanent marker.

Vehicles entered: Washington police are investigating vehicle break-ins that occurred early Sunday in the 600 block of Ewing Street. After receiving a call about three people entering vehicles, officers located a woman and two men in the area of Buena Vista Street and Baird Avenue. They said they found a cellphone, GPS, radar detector, a large amount of change and a men’s black leather wallet in the woman’s purse. The witness was not able to identify the suspects. The purse and contents were seized as evidence.
