Police to get warrant for arrest of Greene man
Chartiers Township police will obtain a warrant for the arrest of a Greene County man after he reportedly got into a scuffle Friday with an officer who was trying to take him into custody on an outstanding warrant.
Jesse Lee Dunfee, 33, of 21 Circle St., Mather, is charged with flight to avoid apprehension, resisting arrest, terroristic threats, harassment, disorderly conduct and driving without a license.
Police were called about 5:35 p.m. to the Moon Road home of his 30-year-old ex-wife. She told police Dunfee called her, telling her he was going to kill her and bury her. He also allegedly told her he had a noose for her and planned on going out with a bang because he had nothing to lose, police said.
Police were at his ex-wife’s home when Dunfee reportedly showed up. Officers determined he was wanted on a warrant. When Officer Edgar Ellis tried to take Dunfee into custody, the two reportedly struggled. Dunfee was able to break away and run from the scene.
Ellis suffered a minor injury. The officer was treated at Washington Hospital and released.
