Burglary charges: Carl Gregory Martin, 49, of 318 Waterdam Road, Waynesburg, was charged by state police with burglary, criminal mischief, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct after he allegedly broke into a Franklin Township trailer early Sunday morning. Police said Martin arrived at a home on East View Court with a baseball bat, and that the resident ran from the home after Martin broke a window and entered the home. Police said Martin allegedly then used the baseball bat to smash all of the windows and lights on the man’s truck, causing about $800 in damage.
